Macromedia

  • 1996 Flash 4: Programming via a series of drop down menus

Adobe

  • 2007 Flash 9 (CS3): Creative Studio is used to indicate that Flash is bundled with other Adobe applications. Action Script 3.0
  • 2008 Flash 10 (CS4): Updated version. Some new features.
  • 2010 Flash 11 (CS5): Updated version. New features include TLF text engine, Font embedding, Spring properties for the bone tool, code snippets, code hinting, AIR.
  • 2011 Flash 11.5 (CS5.5):
  • 2012 Flash 12 (CS6):
  • 2013 Flash 13 CC (Creative Cloud)
    • Is available as a subscription service. Is automatically updated as new versions released. Has HTML 5 canvas support.
