My experiences:
Brain based Learning
We all agree that the brain is involved in learning. Read on to see how teachers can facilitate brain compatible learning. Also see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyYhoCqo58w
Tips for teachers
•Know thy learner :Be sure you are aware of who your students are. It is a good idea to have a learner profile filled in at the start of the term The learner profile could contain important information on the student's learning styles, Multiple Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, his/her attitude towards the Course, other information that would be vital for you to know.
The Profile helps the teacher to design learning experiences that are tailored towards the student.
•Go tech: Use Powerpoint presentations, encourage wiki creation, use webquests and other tech based techniques to foster constructivist approach.
•Use co-operative learning: We learn better with others. Incorporate co-operative learning techniques so that all learners take responsibility for their learning.
•Evaluate:Opt for various techniques of formative evaluation. formative evaluation gives the teacher good feedback to find if the learning objectives are being met. Also, a variety of techniques means the monotony of quizzes as evaluation techniques is broken.
•Network: Be in touch with other teachers all over the globe to know how they handle their classes. Wiki communities are a wonderful way of being linked. Grow by learning. All the best!!!

Dear Agnes: I'm just trying to get my bachelor degree on teaching foreign languages, I'm studying on line in my country National University UNAM. But I love your page, and your project of solving constructivist cases is just very much needed, I feel. I am already a fan of your wiki because it's a place where any teacher can learn a lot! I'd like to collaborate with you as much as I can! It's a privilege to be able to be in contact with you through this wonderful tool. Thanks for your work.--Zapoteco 22:20, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
(: Dear Cynthia. Your page is really interesting. I added a little helpful syntax in your note to Newbies, that your page is "work in progress". This icon you can use on anything when you are not done yet. Warm wishes--Patricia Schlicht 02:19, 30 July 2010 (UTC))
(: Hi Cynthia. Your page is beautiful. I like constructivist teaching pedagogies - especially in online learning environments. I am thinkinig of getting my students to work on webquest this semester. Perhaps you would like to share some ideas of how I would do this well. Cheers. --Vilimaka Foliaki 22:07, 30 July 2010 (UTC))
(: Hi Agnes, Your page is the most informative I've been to. I'm a visual person, and I like how you use colours. I like botany, and probably that is the reason why I like gardening and flowers. Most of my students are ethnic Indians - but most haven't been to India. The longer I stay in Fiji, the more I understand Hindi. It's interesting to learn about other languages - and helps us understand how close we are to one another. Anyway, thanks for visitng and leaving those nice words on my page.Vili) --Vilimaka Foliaki 12:51, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
