Induction Programme for Teacher Educators is a collaborative development of a web-based programme for teacher educators who are working in the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) in India. The programme is a collaborative work of the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysore[1] and theDepartment of State Education Research and Training (DSERT), Bangalore[2]. The peer team consists of teacher educators from both these institutions, the University Departments of Education and the DIET Faculty.

Working With Community is a comprehensive report of the camp organised in December 2007 by Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal[3]. The students of two year B Ed and B Sc B Ed I year were participated in this camp. This camp was coordinated by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pandagale, Lecturer in Education, with valuable guidance of Prof. A B Saxena, Principal, and support from faculty members of RIE, Bhopal.

Though the science education intends to develop Science Process Skills among children, there are fewer solutions to assess them. Formative assessment solutions are developed and tried out.

     Many learners who want to learn through ODL system feel lost due to lack of contact with other peers and teachers and do not know how to proceed and continue study in distance mode. Self motivation is very important to succeed in achieving goals, but this guide would help learners during the period of their study.  
India’s first broadband network on EDUSAT for schools - - ViCTERS (Virtual Class Technology on Edusat for Rural Schools) – inaugurated by H.E. the President of India on 28th July, 2005 in Thiruvananthapuram has revolutionized classrooms through interactive IP-based technology. Kerala has since demonstrated how Edusat could be used to successfully empower teachers. The state is also all set to kick start a non-interactive channel in DTH (Direct-to-Home) to be brought to all its 12,500 schools wherein 50 lakh children stand to benefit.

  • ONESYS
Onesys is the Online Evaluation system of Kerala State IT Mission, Information Technology Department, Govt of Kerala. Site address is http://www.onesys.gov.in
  • RGPEEE
Rajiv Gandhi Project for Edusat Supported Elementary Education (RGPEEE) is a collaborative project of MHRD-ISRO-IGNOU and State Governments of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh. The network has a provision of one teaching end with a sub hub at Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) with connectivity to 850 schools in the Sidhi district and 50 schools each in Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh, Koria in Chattisgarh and Vaisali in Bihar in initial phase. Two hours live programme from 1000 Hrs to 1200 Hrs and repeat programme from 1400 Hrs to 1600 Hrs is telecast on this network. These programme are mainly related to the school education upto the 8th class.
