Preparation Prepare some Memorize games using matching pairs of numbers. Note that simple adding is one of the built-in games in Memorize. They can start with that, and then the more adventurous (extension exercise) can try one of the teachers prepared games. The teacher should share with all the students in the group, but then only one student should start a game and the others join in. However, year 2 students will be happy and challenged playing on their own.

The teacher should practice sharing a game they have created themselves and become confident it will work before the lesson.
