Reflecting on what has been learnt
Eportfolios can play a powerful role in helping students become reflective, self-directed learners. Providing templates for Self-assessments can scaffold a reflective process. Using a Blog posting to reflect on a learning experience, or adding a Comment to an Artefact about why and how a particular piece of evidence was selected, will help students develop metacognitive skills and foster a commitment to lifelong learning.
