Planning future learning
Students can be encouraged to use the eportfolio to plan for personal and career developments beyond your course. You can assist this by planning for ‘integrating moments’ within the course in which students analyse their past performances in order to identify patterns in their learning, and make plans for their continued development.
Key tools to support this include the Blog and the Profile.
You will probably refer to the following topics in the Mahara User Guide:
Profile: Profile, Profile Icons, My Resume, My Goals, My Skills, Edit Profile
Blogs: My Blogs, Create a Blog, Add a Blog Post, Add a file from My Files, Upload a file to a Blog, Embed an image to a Blog post, View Blog, Blog comments.
