Help!!!!!
Hey Wayne! I am finding that I am suffering information overload and not getting very far fast. I have out of sheer ignorance and by accident got to this page where I can ask for help. I have signed up for the course watched some of the video tutorials but none of them tell or show how to post as lots of the instruction examples say to do. I am at a loss as to how does one post / or access in order to post something. Particularly Activity 2 says to post a note on identi.ca Step 2. In the "what's up text field block compose a short note and remember to include the hashtag "#wetest" in your post making sure that there is space before and after the tag. I wanted to do what you suggested Just testing a note for a Wikieducator course. #wetest. I don't even know if this will get to you and how to access the reply you will hopefully send me. my email address darrylthompson@optusnet.com.au Any help, guidance will be gratefully appreciated. Darryl
- The name of the text area on the identi.ca web page has changed since the instructions were written. When logged in, you should see an Update your status... box near the top of the middle column. When you click there, the text area will expand and you can enter your message. --JimTittsler 03:37, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi there, User:Mackiwg! In a previous life, I attended OCL4Ed12-12 :) Back then, certificates were unavailable. I know I had a microblog thing going on, but my on-wiki contribs aren't much and the Moodle forum is down? I was hoping for some way to prove I completed that course. Thanks for your time in advance.
Hi Wayne I blocked user:Cohenmarshall52 and deleted all contributions. All of the contributions were links to sites that shared downloads of things like 'Game of Thrones' and other shows. However, it looks like you created the user account.....so I thought I should explain. It may well be that the user misunderstood the nature of the site; or their account has been hijacked. Either way I'm happy to undo what I did if you need me to. Cheers Declan
dmccabe@smcvt.edu is easiest way to get me....just popped by to check on a site of mine and noticed the show links.

Dear Wayne:
I woul like to know if the Learning4content course is over and if I need to do more activities, or what's next.
I'll appreciate your help.
Best Regards:
Heriberto
The "formal" part of the course is over. If you have worked through all of the course activities then you can continue to explore WikiEducator. You could find pages that need editing or deeper collaboration. And start thinking about how you will present your own learning resource(s) and experimenting with their organization either in the main public space of the wiki or within your own user "sandbox."
Hi Wayne,
I see that while I was away, the traffic by spammers and scammers has increased. Are there specific policies I should look over, or simply continue with my if it looks like spam it probably is spam approach? I have been deleting and blocking dating services, lottery schemes, etc. Hopefully not too heavy handed?
Keep up all of your good work here. Things seem to have developed rapidly and in very positive directions on WE.
Cheers,
Declan
Dear Mackiwg
I found u working with Wiki yesterday from 00.30 to 04.50.
With these efforts u r connecting all of us...amazing. There is a mythological story...where Prince Ram erected a bridge with the help of monkeys & a squirrel. I would love to play the role of that small squirrel in the mighty efforts u have put up to create the bridge among communities across the globe.....Warm Regards....Dr Sujata Dhopte

I want to insert some content (from UCTL/Active_Learning) in the page.
I want several pages with

Hi Wayne, Trying to get involved in Wiking so going through the tutorials - Am fixing any dead/changing links as I come across them. I was going to amend http://akowiki.canterbury.ac.nz/index.php/Main_Page to http://wikieducator.org/UCTL but you have blocked editing on http://www.wikieducator.org/Wikieducator_tutorial/What_is_a_wiki (due to high traffic). Cheers and I hope to get involved more in the future User:Mverhaart
Hi Wayne,
As part of today's assignment I thought I should leave a note on your talk page as it would only be proper if, first of all, I thanked you for providing me with the correct syntax for posting images of predefined size and position, including a caption. That was extremely useful.
You made provisional changes to my 'additional interests' page, placing all images related to the music section on the right hand side of the screen. This looked nice, but it had the disadvantage that the images spilled over into the next section on poetry and literary expression. I thus decided to move one of the images to the left hand side. Doing so, they now all remain in the music section. I checked this out on four different sizes of computer screens with varying width x height ratios. For most modern screen formats the layout is just fine in my view; for some of the older ones it is perhaps less than ideal, but overall I am satisfied with the result. You can check it out at http://www.wikieducator.org/Jan_Visser's_additional_interests.
Let me know should you disagree.
Dear Wayne,
I tried adding the code to my user page as you recommended, but obviously did something wrong as I am now unable to open my user page. Any suggestions?
Thanks, --Benjamin Stewart 20:19, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for centering my photo! I noticed that your infobox (like mine) cuts off the "email" title at the left. Do you know why this is?--Benjamin Stewart 20:55, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
