WHO AM I
NAME:Lina Elizabeth Tone-Schuster
I live at Alafua. My home is opposite the University of the South Pacific.I have lived in the area for over 10 years. It is a very private and peaceful area with very little noise.
I am married and have two beautiful children. I enjoy the challenge of raising two young energetic kids. My children are Eleanor 5 years of age and Raymond 11 years of age.
I am currently working with the Faculty of Education and involved in the training of teachers.I have been with the University for over 10 years now and enjoy the challenges the job brings. I would say that I have very basic computer skills much of what I learn on the job.
I am the HOD for Teacher Education and a lecturer in Social Studies. NUS works to provide academic and vocational opportunities for students. It also encourages research. Samoan Studies is also a priority and what makes our University unique.
I think WikiEducator is fantastic.....it is a great opportunity for people to access information. In particular teachers and students. It encourages skills like collaboration and encourages the sharing of information.
