Your training in stage one helped you to understand what you have learnt in stage two about the impacts and effects of tsunami. You know from the first stage what happens to cause a tsunami and what happens inside it, so you have a stronger perspective of the physical damage that a tsunami can cause and why this is different to damage caused by ordinary big waves. You also learned in this stage of your training how the impact of a tsunami is social as well as physical. In the same way, in stage three you will build on your advanced stage one and two knowledge of tsunami and put this knowledge into action with real plans and strategies to prepare your family and your community for disaster. |
