Aims of the Working Group
- Design and implement a streamlined process for nominating OERu courses which contributes to building the OERu programme of study incorporating a peer review element for feedback.
- Develop quality instruments for both the design and review OERu courses that include minimum quality standards and essential inclusions for OERu courses
- Develop a streamlined process of approving nominated OERu courses which use the quality instruments, as well as guidelines for open and early sharing of ideas to support collaboration, re-use of materials and multiple credit pathways via OER partners.
Dependencies
- Liaise with the Credit transfer and course articulation advisory service to ensure that local requirements for credit transfer and course articulation incorporated into the OERu quality standards to maximise opportunities for course recognition in the network.
- Liaise with the Curriculum and programme of study working group to maximise alignment of course nominations with the OERu programme(s) of study.
- Liaise with the OERu partners & course development manual to incorporate course approval guidelines in the OERu partners and course development manual.
