Discussion

Background: Currently WikiEducator does not have a mechanism or process for the development of policies and/or guidelines which may have a community wide impact. As an open community project we subscribe to community-driven policy development incorporating the freedom of any member of the community to institute a policy development initiative. 8 WikiEducators (including four members of this Council) convened to develop a policy proposal for Community Workgroups. I invite members of Council to:

  1. Read the Workgroup report prepared for members of Council
  2. Review the Policy proposal for Community Workgroups
  3. Review the template for developing a Workgroup Charter

I open the floor for Council to consider drafting a motion to approve the Policy for Community Workgroups. --Wayne Mackintosh 01:17, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

I have completely read through the report and Chater and i dont have any new addition. I will gladly support moving this motion ahead. --Victor P. K. Mensah 13:04, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
The draft policy looks to be extremely thorough and well thought out. I don't have any substantive comments to add. --Ahrash Bissell 15:08, 11 Setember 2009 (UTC)
