My WikiEducator DoB
19 February 2007 when I started working on CCNC Project
Hi friends, I am Pankaj. Presently serving as Registrar, Student Registration Division of Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, India.
Trained as a geologist, I have 27 years of experience in formal and distance education. I have done my PhD in Distance Education on "Datamining applications in Distance education" from a open University in India. I have served as faculty and as an academic manager in IGNOU as well served Commonwealth of Learning as Programme Officer.
Elearning excited me right from the day I was exposed to it. The technology enabled learning is a great educational delivery method where we can create one-to-one environment for learners. And now, Wikieducator, a new concept for the practitioners of Distance Learning, is a new technological life for me and I am enjoying it. The principle is simple, learn a new thing each day.
