How to embed to an external site ???
I have an embed code on my Wikieducator page for a PodOmatic that I would like to appear as as visual as well as be able to play. What is the best way to do this? I tried the global "link"and the embedded file (the PodOmatic is not my own computer file) from the editor bar. All I have now is the embed code on the page. Suggestions are gratefully apreciated. Thank you.
Basic Guide to OER
Hi Patricia, I just realized with great dismay that all my work here:
wikisource:en:A Basic Guide to Open Educational Resources/FAQ
…is almost completely duplicative of your work here:
Sigh. I wish I'd found yours sooner!
Meanwhile, if you find yourself interested in weaving the knowledge from that book into the Wikipedia article on OER, please join us! We could use more experienced wiki editors. (Perhaps you would like to lend a hand during the lab sessions for our upcoming class, [Writing Wikipedia Articles]?) -Pete F. 21:35, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Why not use the guidelines in our page Talk:India/Alternative_Education_Board? Better still, why not join our initiative to transfer power of education to people?
Dear Patricia, How to be a WIKI AMBASSADOR. I would like to be one to enable me to meet others and build awareness of wikieducator.org Regards --Ravi limaye 03:06, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
Ravi you can read more about the WikiEducator Ambassadors. Anyone can be an ambassador by explaining and promoting the WikiEducator community and its goals in any format: in person in organizations or conferences, in publications, or online. You are welcome to keep a record of your presentations or publications linked from the Ambassadors page.
I am just finishing off the ccourse...had computer problems. Better late than never.

Hi Patricia! I salute you and thank you so much for the great work you do on WikiEducator. Your ideas and skills are extra-ordinary. I am inspired by your way of work.
Please advise me on how I can become a WikiNeighbour as well as a WikiAmbassador. I also signed the Cape Town OED but it is not reflected on my user page, please help.
Best regards, Emmanuel Nalumenya.
Dear Emmanuel, I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you. For some reason I could not get to my talk page, but now I can. Thank you for your kind words. You are a WikiNeighbour when you help others in the community and a Wiki Ambassador, I think the best way to summon it up is to direct your to this page: WikiNeighbour. Warm wishes--Patricia Schlicht 22:05, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi, Patricia!
I'm writing this message here (though it doesn't actually have to do with your user page) because I haven't been getting much response to a call for help I posted in the general forum for eL4C41. My screen when I call up my watchlist looks like this. Although the browser shown is Google Chrome, I have the same results in Firefox and Safari. The application does not appear to be calling up the complete code to load the window. It aborts without displaying items that have been in my watchlist. This link worked fine all through the workshop until last evening (PDT), when it suddenly started showing the blank screen. I have since cleared the cache for my browsers, but the result is still the same. Any help you could give would be most neighbourly. Thanks!--Jrradney 18:49, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your comments. I cannot accept the thank you as this goes to Dr. Savithri Singh and team, but I am happy to act behind the scene, paving the way, working with the founder of WikiEducator, Dr. Wayne Mackintosh in Vancouver, Canada. Warm wishes, Patricia
Dear Patricia, thanks for your supportive words about my not meeting the deadline I had set myself. That helps me feel even more at home in this community. As you can see, I'm testing the talk and discussion features to answer your comment on my page :-)--Mary Di Mónaco 03:28, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
