Dear Dr.Dilip Barad,
Happy to find your link under "Joint Statement : 2008." You are welcome to share your ideas on "the how-to-areas" of organizing WikiEducators Day on Teachers Day.
With warm regards,
Dear Dr. Ramakrishnan, I am still blank. No innovative ideas are knocking doors of mind/brain. Can we share what we are planning to do on that day? Normally, we have a tradition that on that day, students teach and teachers take rest. Some of us are going to write or publish some articles/anthologies on 5th Sept to commemorate the day. But, I think something genuine is yet to be done. The devotion of teachers towards students and education is found in today's teachers but such teachers are decreasing in numbers. We need to encourage teachers to be self-motivated and have a dynamic personality. The word 'dynamic' comes form 'dynamo' - a mechanism which generates energy. The more it works, the more energy is generated. So we want such dynamic teachers. But the 'Yaksha - Prashna' is HOW?
[edit | edit source]
YES. Copy and paste the Statement(sample:Karnataka) in E-Mails http://www.wikieducator.org/India/L4C_India_Campaign_2008, print and distribute it among the teachers on 5th Sept. Further, arrange panel discussions, seminars and talks involving students on topics like i)"Do teacher values change with the changing society?" ii)"The Role of WikiEducator Community in Teacher Empowerment."iii) "Turning the digital divide into digital dividends-The Wiki Way."
Be the Yaksha and the Prashna would disappear into the answer!
Dear Dr. Ramakrishnan, Thanks for ur reply. You have given very good idea and questions to ponder. It will help me to have discussion. I will also share it with the e-members of the groups i moderate. Regards. Dr.Dilip Barad Bhavnagar University, Gujarat
A Challenging Topic.[edit | edit source]
I have suggested a new and challenging topic for Ph.D degree in English to a candidate who requested me to be his guide. "ELT Specific Computer Literacy and Internet Enabling: A Study & Survey." Needless to mention that the WikiEducator Community would be the major primary source.
I am yet to direct him to your User Page to join the online courses.
You are requested to share your ideas regarding the topic and its management.
Warm regards and Happy World Teacher's Day(5th Oct.),
Dear Dr. Barad
I visited your user page and it is really an ecellent one. However, I am going to prepare SLM on Grammar: i.e. Subject-verb Agreement for Technical Students. I want suggestion from you Sir.

Dear Mamun Barbhuiya, Its a good idea to prepare Concord exercise for Technical (Engineers) students. 'English for Engineers' is emerging branch of ESP (English for Special Purpose). I will be helful in editing and updating ur SLM. Thanks Dilip Barad
Dear Dr. Barad Thanx a lot for replying and hope that you will help me in designing the SLM.I will keep in touch with you.Actually I am doing a UGC-MRP on@Scope of Using Computer in Teaching English:A Study of Compulsory English in the Polytechnics of Assam With Regards, Mamun
Dear Mamun, I will surely help you in designing SLM. Similarly, I will need ur help also. The beauty of online SLM is that we can help each other from far situated locations. I am glad to see that u are working on MRP. I have applied to UGC for MRP on ICT in TELL (Teaching English Language and Literature). If I get approval, i will ask you to share your research findings. I hope you will share it with me. Warm regards, Dilip Barad
Please do not mind, as I deleted your pic from my user page. You are my friend...always ... but I just wanted to make the page as it is...
