Dear Mr. Tompsett, I was wondering if people can also participate online at the Wikiversity course? --Erkan Yilmaz 21:34, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Query about Eurasia

Hi Leutha,

Apology for the tardy response --- have had a busy time catching up from my last international mission.

No particular rationale that I'm aware of regarding the "Eurasia" sub-heading --- I suspect that this was simply a categorisation that Patricia used when listing the countries.

Feel free to remove / adapt as necessary.

Cheers Wayne

Usability Working Group

Hi Leutha, I have started a page for the Usability Working Group. As I state on the page, I think that as the Council has not really had time to start this up, I think that interested people can go ahead and start reviewing what needs working on. I hope this is useful. Your input on this page would be appreciated!! Thanx Kakamora 17:05, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Subjects and portals

yes its usability and navigation: i just clocked the Content link on the left - but the Secondary portal only has Maths in it and its unclear how to add subjects to it... spuriouser and furiouser... Kakamora 11:37, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the links. Yes I met David Leeming while I was in the Solomons. He started the People First Network which set up the Solomon Islands Distance Learning Centres. For now a I am trying to complete the page on Basic Computing and then hopefully add some other stuff from teaching in the Solomons. Kakamora 08:34, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Ort Gutman: Generic Terms

Hi Leutha, I have no idea whether you received my messages to you. I would like to thank you for taking the trouble to point out the issue with generic terms like students. I removed all the generic terms and added WR before each one.

Thank you for your feedback.

Feel free to contact me.

Warm wishes,

Nellie Deutsch
