Dear Dr.Dilip Barad,

Happy to find your link under "Joint Statement : 2008." You are welcome to share your ideas on "the how-to-areas" of organizing WikiEducators Day on Teachers Day.

With warm regards,

Dear Dr. Ramakrishnan, I am still blank. No innovative ideas are knocking doors of mind/brain. Can we share what we are planning to do on that day? Normally, we have a tradition that on that day, students teach and teachers take rest. Some of us are going to write or publish some articles/anthologies on 5th Sept to commemorate the day. But, I think something genuine is yet to be done. The devotion of teachers towards students and education is found in today's teachers but such teachers are decreasing in numbers. We need to encourage teachers to be self-motivated and have a dynamic personality. The word 'dynamic' comes form 'dynamo' - a mechanism which generates energy. The more it works, the more energy is generated. So we want such dynamic teachers. But the 'Yaksha - Prashna' is HOW?

Can we share what we are planning to do on that day?[edit]

Dear Dr.Dilip,

YES. Copy and paste the Statement(sample:Karnataka) in E-Mails http://www.wikieducator.org/India/L4C_India_Campaign_2008, print and distribute it among the teachers on 5th Sept. Further, arrange panel discussions, seminars and talks involving students on topics like i)"Do teacher values change with the changing society?" ii)"The Role of WikiEducator Community in Teacher Empowerment."iii) "Turning the digital divide into digital dividends-The Wiki Way."

Be the Yaksha and the Prashna would disappear into the answer!

Warm regards,

Dr.Ramakrishnan

A Challenging Topic.[edit]

Dear Dr.Dilip,

I have suggested a new and challenging topic for Ph.D degree in English to a candidate who requested me to be his guide. "ELT Specific Computer Literacy and Internet Enabling: A Study & Survey." Needless to mention that the WikiEducator Community would be the major primary source.

I am yet to direct him to your User Page to join the online courses.

You are requested to share your ideas regarding the topic and its management.

Warm regards and Happy World Teacher's Day(5th Oct.),

Dr.Ramakrishnan
