My Profile

My name is Zobeida Ramírez, from Dominican Republic. I am working for the Escuela Nacional de la Judicatura, the Supreme Court school responsible for the education of Dominican Judges. I am responsible for teaching all of them the use of technology (computer, MS Office and OpenOffice applicatons, Moodle and Web 2.0 tools.

Professional Background

I graduated in Translation at Universidad APEC in Santo Domingo. Although this is my formal studies, ten years ago I discovered two big passions in my life Technology and teaching. My knowledges of these two areas came from my curiosity, self-studies and my own experiences.

Personal Background and Interest

I came from a family of five children: two brothers, two sisters and me. I am single and live alone, but near my family. I have a lot of friends and love to share a nice dinner and a good wine with them. I love the beach, music (specially jazz), radio hosting and cooking.
