HOW TO BE SAFE FROM THERMOCOL
Now days Thermocol is very harmful to the environment so .we must try to remove Thermocol waste from this world .you can see the matrubhumi report about my experiment
Experiment : first take 10 ml petrol (C8H18) and add Thermocol (C8H8) then you can see that Thermocol is disolving easly in petrol .if you dissolve maximum Thermocol in petrol you can get a glue this glue you can use for sticking marble, marbonite, tiles ,etc...
HARMFUL EFFECTS OF THERMOCOL
If you burn hydrocarbons
- CO2 and CO are coming out
- CO is very harmful to the human body and it is killing us by one by one
- so we cant burn hydrocarbons
- if you are burning you are killing your self
- making water pollution
- preventing bacterial activities
- preventing plantation
- soil become infertile
SO we have only one method to escape from Thermocol
you can dissolve 1 m3 Thermocol in 1 ml petrol
MECHANISM OF THIS PROCESS
Thermocol and petrol both are non polar substance so they can dissolve each other and there is no reaction.so through this expriment we can't make any pollution . so it is the safe method for removing Thermocol from the world.

Pollution is any undesirable change in physical, chemical or biological characteristics of air, land, water or soil
Agents that bring about such an undesirable change are called as pollutants
In order to control environmental pollution, the Government of India has passed the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 to protect and improve the quality of our environment (air, water and soil).

Electrostatic precipitator
• There are several ways of removing particulate matter; the most widely used of which is the electrostatic precipitator.
• Which can remove over 99 per cent particulate matter present in the waste gas from a thermal power plant.
• It has electrode wires that are maintained at several thousand volts, which produce a corona that releases electrons
• These electrons attach to dust particles giving them a net negative charge
• The collecting plates are grounded and attract the charged dust particles.
• A scrubber can remove gases like sulphur dioxide

According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), particulate size 2.5 micrometers or less in diameter (PM 2.5) are responsible for causing the greatest harm to human health. These fine particulates can be inhaled deep into the lungs and can cause breathing and respiratory symptoms, irritation, inflammations and damage to the lungs and premature deaths.
- Proper maintenance of automobiles along with use of lead-free petrol or diesel can reduce the pollutants they emit
- Adding Catalytic converters, having expensive metals namely platinum-palladium and rhodium as the catalysts, are fitted into automobiles for reducing emission of poisonous gases
- As the exhaust passes through the catalytic converter, unburnt hydrocarbons are converted into carbon dioxide and water, and carbon monoxide and nitric oxide are changed to carbon dioxide and nitrogen gas, respectively.
- vehicles equipped with catalytic converter should use unleaded petrol because lead in the petrol inactivates the catalyst.

In India, the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act came into force in 1981, but was changed in 1987 to include noise as an air pollutant.
We have got used to associating loud sounds with pleasure and entertainment not realizing that noise causes psychological and physiological disorders in humans.
150 or more sound generated by take off of a jet plane or rocket, may damage ear drums thus permanently impairing hearing ability.
Noise also causes sleeplessness, increased heart beating, altered breathing pattern, thus considerably stressing humans.
Effect of air pollution
Air pollutants cause injury to all living organisms.
They reduce growth and yield of crops and cause premature death of plants.
Air pollutants also deleteriously affect the respiratory system of humans and of animals.
Amateur Radio
Amateur radio is a community of people that use radio transmitters and receivers to communicate with other Amateur radio operators. If you were to ask a dozen different amateurs what ham radio meant to them chances are you would get 12 different answers. Amateur radio operators are often called ham radio operators or simply "hams" and frequently the public is more familiar with this term than with the legal term Radio Amateur. The source of this nickname is for all practical purposes lost from the beginning.
Amateur (HAM) Radio is truly a hobby but often one that makes a difference especially in emergency or disaster situations. It is an activity of Self Learning, Inter-Communication & Technical Investigation carried on between Amateur Radio Operators. Amateurs talk to local friends over the radio waves using a hand-held transceiver, communicating digitally with packet radio to exchange personal messages or vital information in an emergency, talking to other hams anywhere in the world, or engaging in contests with other Radio Amateurs over the airwaves there is something for everyone.
There are over Lakh people all over the world who pursue this activity in their free time
