| Summary of work experience / career history: | After serving formal education system for 5 years in remote hilly area in India, serving Distance Education Institution (IGNOU) for almost 20 years. Have moved places from Assistant Professor to Deputy Director and to the Director and have served various units at IGNOU including MIS, Materials production and distribution, planning and international relations. Also served COL (CEMCA) as Programme Officer for two years in 2003-2005. |
| Details of facilitation and/or teaching experience: | I have experience of teaching in F2F mode for four years, distance education teahcer for more than 20 years. I have served as adademic manager at various units at IGNOU. I have conducted/resourced more than 15 international and national training/orientation workshops. Recently participated in L4C First workshop as Manager. |

When I started working on WikiEducator, I saw my dreams are coming true, particularly when I found solutions to the academic management issues in content development for ODL system. It is so exciting and so much satisfying that I cannot put in words. And then, the teacher within inspired me to share what I have seen, learnt and researched with peer, with learners and to whole world. I intend to do so to the maximum extend.
