Questions
- Notice how my infobox cuts off information at the bottom - Skype name does not appear. Any way to fix this? (I've noticed this happening with other infoboxes as well.)--Benjamin Stewart 12:12, 31 March 2009 (UTC) Will have look....--Lebreton 13:07, 31 March 2009 (UTC) User_talk:Lebreton/collaborative This is a screencast of what I see.--Benjamin Stewart 21:50, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- How to I delete a file or picture ?
- I currently have two user pages: Benjamin Stewart, M.Ed. (Ph.D., 2012) and User:Bnleez, the latter automatically forwards to the former. How can I eliminate the User:Bnleez page and just use the other page?--Benjamin Stewart 22:05, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- How do I embed a voicethread as a individual thread (as opposed to an rss feed)? This is what I want to do, only in WE.--Benjamin Stewart 12:25, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- - I have a question regarding how to delete files from Kaltura. --Benjamin Stewart 19:32, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

- It cuts off, because this is a template that doesn't include the Skype name in its setup. If you look at the template on my user page, you will find the same. I have moved down the next box a bit and entered the WikiNeighbour template into the Infobox as well by added the "Boxes" that need to be there to insert this info. --Patricia 16:56, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Template fixed by Wayne Special:Newmessages#lqt_thread_8015--Lebreton 07:01, 1 April 2009 (UTC) Excellent solution, Oliver! Thanks!--Benjamin Stewart 12:05, 1 April 2009 (UTC) - Wayne's answer/solution
- Was this resolved? Well, not exactly, but as I understand it, if I delete one of the pages, I lose its history as well. I think for now I'll leave it as it is.--Benjamin Stewart 15:49, 9 April 2009 (UTC) You can "move" a page to a new location see: [1], in fact creating a link pointing to the old file, and in doing so, keeping history files :)--Lebreton 15:55, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- You can add a youtube video via Kaltura, collaborative video on the left hand menu tab at the bottom once you are in edit mode, and rss feed via bliptv, see User:Nelliemuller page for code.......--Lebreton 14:48, 9 April 2009 (UTC) Thanks for the response. I see how to add youtube video via Kaltura, but my doubt pertains more to embedding in general (outside of Kaltura): individual voicethreads, bliptv videos, etc. I can´t seem to find the code that will enable me to do this without using an RSS feed which lumps videos together, which is not what I´m after. This simple example in wikispaces is what I'm wanting to do in WE.--Benjamin Stewart 15:49, 9 April 2009 (UTC) From skypechat I had with Nellie understand that RSS is required.....--Lebreton 15:52, 9 April 2009 (UTC) That's what I was afraid of...it's unfortunate. Thanks for your response.--Benjamin Stewart 16:35, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Tip's and Tricks
- If you need to display wiki code ie.: {{User_Skype_Test|SkypeID=MyskypeID}} wihout the code being executed,
just surround it with: <nowiki>any code in here</nowiki>. So in code this one looks like: <nowiki><nowiki>any code in here</nowiki></nowiki> :) --Lebreton 15:36, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- Have another useful one ? Please put it here. Thanks !
