Just had a look at my watchlist and noticed a New messages alert.

Following the link, I found the heading "Messages on other talkpages:" and underneath it there are the two of liquid threads' threads from Talk:Main_Page. There also seems to be an entry for each of the replies in the thread as well.

Having not seen this before, I was wondering if this part of liquid threads?

If so, it seems like it would be better not to have to clear individual replies in a thread as you can already see the entire thread in the initial message of the thread.

Yes, it's part of LQT. I agree that we probably want to do it on a thread, not a comment level. Thanks for the pointer.

(BTW, you do not have to sign your comments anymore. :-)

Also.. if you're watching a lot of pages, or commenting a lot I guess...it can lead to a huge page in your New Messages with no way to remove except one by one. Perhaps a checkbox system for removal would be better than having to do it one by one.
