Tower Hamlets African and Caribbean Mental Health Organisation (THACMHO) is a voluntary organisation based in Tower Hamlets in London's East End.
THACMHO is led by Users and ex-Users of mental health services, supported by a development worker and was formed in 1996. Its central aim since becoming a voluntary organisation is to promote the well-being of African and Caribbean users of mental health services living in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets - and to make the life of their communities a more fulfilling and rewarding experience. In addition to developing positive self-awareness and identity. We believe that the best treatment for our mental health is a strong, vibrant and caring community.
