About the University
Netaji Subhas Open University was established as a State Open University by an Act of West Bengal State Legislature in 1997. Within a very short period of time the University emerged the status of Mega University with more than 142,000 learners on its roll. At present the University has 172 study centres all over the state of West Bengal.
