GB
A gigabyte. Used to measure the amount of memory or disk space. Technically a Gigabyte is signify 2³⁰ bytes (1,073,741,824), but can also be used more loosely as a billion (1,000,000,000) bytes.

GIF (graphics interchange format)

An animated gif file

A common image file format used in Web pages, particularly useful for animated images. A GIF image file will have the extension "GIF", for example Flag_India.gif

graphics
Graphs or charts or line drawings which are displayed, either on the computer screen or printed out, using an appropriate software application such as a spreadsheet with graphing facilities.

GUI (graphical user interface)
An interface that allows the user to control the computer by selecting icons with a mouse, lightpen or other similar device.
