Numbered list

I've been encountering error while numbering (viz. "1,2,3....")points of an article through the basic wiki syntax : # .All the points are coming as number "1". Can anyone help me to sort it out.

" TOP " template

Can anybody help me in creating a " Top " template like " previous" & " next " one.In case of lengthy contents which need to be displayed in one page the using of " Top " template seems meaningful instead of dividing the content into more than one page & using " prevnext " template.

I am sure this is what u r looking for Dr. Manisha Jain

Hi Manisha, thanks for your answer but perhaps i couldn't put my question rightly as i'm looking for " Top " arrow meaning that clicking which i would reach at top of the page.Hence if i put a long content in a single page, viewer can reach at the top of the page as many times they click on the " top " arrow instead of scrolling up the mouse.

How to add the subpage link to the main user page

can anybody please guide me how i can add the link of my content in the "subpages" section to the main user page?

Satarupa (talk)03:04, 5 August 2010

Hi, Satarupa!

The information you want is in Tutorial 5 on creating and editing links. The basics are to begin with two square brackets ([) followed by the designator for the subpage (Wikieducator tutorial/New Pages and Links) and then closing with two square brackets (]) followed by the designator for the subpage (/Wikieducator tutorial/New Pages and Links) and then closing with two square brackets (</a>).

I'm going to switch over (in editing) to Wikitext, so I can try what I just told you.
