The motivation for joining this workshop was to get a formal training on "open resources". The idea of uploading interesting stuff for the students is very exciting . The course curriculum is so designed that very often there s very little time for discussions beyond the classroom teaching. This forum appears to be the appropriate platform for sharing everything that i wanted to ,on various topics. Our boundaries have vanished- its an era of interdiscipline wikieducator seems to be most ideal for remaining in touch with the international community belonging to various groups.

NONLINEAR DYNAMICS
Most of the phenomena around us seem to fall in this category. It is interesting to explore the dynamics of physiological processes going on in our body for instance the cardiac dynamics.Unlike what we expect, a healthy heart is the one with non periodic dynamics. Similarly non linear d ynamics finds applications in ecology. Population problems involving 2 or more species are also explored. It is particularly useful since it throws light on survival or extinctiction of various species depending on certain parameters.Similarly disease dynamics can also be investigated using the tools of nonlinear dynamics and chaos theory
BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS OF PHYSICS
Physics finds a very important application in gaining a deep insight into the living system processes.Blood flow is analyzed using the principles of hydrodynamics.Similarly the breathing process requires fluid dynamics.A lot of Physics is also involved in the techniques for diagnosis.
