My name is Pema. I work with the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia, New Delhi. Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia is the only regional office of the Commonwealth of Learning, (COL), Vancouver, Canada.
My Ph D is in the area of Cultural Studies (degree in English), and my background is in ODL. I have been working in ODL for the last nine years. My interest is in ICT intervention in the Humanities and in various aspects of Cultural Studies. I am deeply interested in Folk Lore Studies/ Orature.
I will try and put up material on ICT in education/ ET as it is called/ on folk lore studies/ cultural studies. If there is anyone interested in South Asian Literature/ writings in English or Diaspora Studies please do be in touch.
