Live-CD
- A Linux Live CD is a Linux saved unto a self starting cd-rom, in order for you to use it without the need to install it to your hard disk. After removing the 'live' cd-rom the computer can reboot in Windows as usual.
- It's most common use is to demonstrate linux without having to install it to a hard disk.
- The Live CD as problem solver for crashed computers also called "rescue cd".
