Professional background
I have a first degree in Economics but my vocation is in Information Technology, particularly Web Design and Development. I worked briefly as a journalist with the state newspaper corporation before veering into banking. There I rose through the ranks to a Manager designate before I called it quits.
My sojourn in IT has been very rewarding. I was a pioneer of sorts in my country way back in 1995 when the internet was in its infancy in Nigeria. I am presently managing two construction companies and an IT company.
Education
B.Sc (Hons) Economics, University of Calabar, Calabar Nigeria, 1983.

My optional community service (learning contract) project
Agreement |
By signing this optional learning contract I will try to complete my training in basic wiki editing skills to achieve the status of a Wikibuddy. In return for this free training opportunity, I will give the gift of knowledge by donating or developing at least one free content resource licensed under a CC-BY-SA or CC-BY license which can be used by myself (and others) on WikiEducator. |
Brief description of project |
My late father was able to grow coffee in our village. This has never been done because the land is really not suited for coffee. How he did it has marveled everyone. My dad himself, could not explain it. He did it out of a hunch. I intend to research into how any why it was possible for him to cultivate the crop and why to this day they are doing very well. The government is interested in this pioneering project and have signaled their intention to be involved. |
Target date for completion |
