"Life is like riding a bike. To keep your balance you must keep moving." Albert Einstein, in a letter to his son Eduard, Feb. 5, 1930

When I learn how to include pictures I'll add the one that goes with this saying. It is Einstein riding a bike (In Santa Barbara, 1933).Ooops! I think it is copyrighted...

Re: Hello Deborah, better you upload the photo which have been taken by you, no copyright problem in them. Else search for wikimedia or wikicommons site. --R C Sharma, PhD 20:11, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

My optional community service (learning contract) project

100px-L4C-small.png  Agreement
By signing this optional learning contract I will try to complete my training in basic wiki editing skills to achieve the status of a Wikibuddy. In return for this free training opportunity, I will give the gift of knowledge by donating or developing at least one free content resource licensed under a CC-BY-SA or CC-BY license which can be used by myself (and others) on WikiEducator.
Brief description of project
Since my background includes foreign language learning and teaching, and there seems to be a need for FL specialists and materials, well, a little help here?

Hi Deborah

A grand welcome to OER. If you want friends to hold your hand as you take the tentative steps to become a Wiki Buddy, do ask us. Savitha Harish, Mathew M K, Darsana Joseph and Hani Kiran are with me. Hani Kiran is new. But all others are from the runners up team from eL4C41. We'll try harder this time. So, one of us should be always available to collaborate with you to learn from each other.

Prof. Sugatha Mitra, proved anyone can learn by collaboration. [1]. Let us do that too. Wiki is a platform for collaboration. We can learn together. Do ask any of us for support before you shoot it at the Facilitators. They have their hands full.

As we try to find answers for you, we too can learn. We attended eL4C41 but couldn't reach Wiki Buddy level. This time we have promised to burn midnight to succeed, and become Wiki Buddys. Come, let us put our heads together. My email is Sebastian Panakal Skype ID: sebastianpanakal

80px-Wikineighbour V2.pngHi Deborah, your page seems to be coming along very nicely. All the best and wishing that you succeed in all that you set out to accomplish. Regards, Kalpana--Kalpana Gupte 18:09, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, just wondering whether you could recommend any texts to on FL teaching and the use of ICT - I am a high school teacher keen to read more academic texts on the subject. Thanks--Beckyn 19:52, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
