Hi Gaelyn and others,
What a wonderful resource--a great of example of how WE can organize various elements related to one resource (e.g. teacher resources along with the learning content).
One of the areas of WikiEducator that I've been working on is categorisation (see our project pages at Workgroup:Categories. (Some basics about categories is available at Help:Category.)
I'm wondering if we should create a category to collect all of your Globalsport resource pages into one place. We can also categorise specific pages into other specific relevant categories. Categories may be one way that people will find these pages in the future.
The name of the category should be specific to the pages. Category:Globalsport is available, or it could include more specifics about the resource: Category:Hosting a global sporting event. I thought about creating it myself, but I really think you should choose the wording.
Adding a category to a page is simple. Add the code [[Category:Whatever topic name]] to the page, typically at the very bottom.
But this can be quite tedious if there are a lot pages. Another option is to have the category transcluded to the page via a template. It looks like the globalsport nav is using the ProjectNav template directly. We could create a nav specific to globalsport, and then add code according to the following to transclude the globalsport-specific category code to each page that includes the navigator. Having a globalsport-specific nav will also simplify making changes to the nav (only need to be made in one place--replicates to all pages that include the template).
The categorisation code to add to the template would look something like:
<includeonly>[[Category:Whatever topic name|{{SUBPAGENAME}}]]</includeonly>
<noinclude>[[Category:Whatever topic name|τ]]</noinclude>
The section after the pipe is a sort key that specifies the order of the category listing. The first listing is transcluded into the Globalsport pages (causing each page to be sorted according to its subpage name). The second listing categorises the template page into the category under the Greek letter tau.
Once there is a main "globalsport" category, we can categorise this new category to be a subcategory of other categories, e.g., Category:Sport, and any other categories that you think appropriate.
One of the action items for the categories workgroup is to figure out how to work with authors to implement categories. What do you think of this approach? I'm happy to help you create the globalsport-specific nav and to do the categorisation, but wanted your thoughts on naming and relevant connections first. Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Hi, I have started doing some quality control in the wiki and have done the following to standardise the layout.
1. The first word of the objectives at the beginning of each page are in bold 2. Each heading is in lower case except for the beginning word and any proper nouns 3. The spaces (as much as possible) are consistent between the boxes and inside the boxes......
