Request an OERNZ Wiki-taster session
A Wiki-taster is a short (90 to 120 minutes) introduction to OERNZ and wiki technology.
This a free hands-on professional development workshop. It is designed to help teachers get started started with collaborative OER development using WikiEducator. The OER Foundation will arrange for a wiki-trainer to visit your school and facilitate this face-to-face session. The workshops are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis subject to available funding.
During the Wiki-taster session, teachers will create an account on WikiEducator, learn how to format text, insert links and create new wiki pages. Teachers will share ideas for developing and sharing digital teaching materials and create and/or improve their OER school portal on WikiEducator.
The host school should provide access to a computer laboratory with an internet connection and be responsible for local arrangements aiming to achieve a minimum of 8 - 10 participants for each workshop. Register your expression of interest to host a Wiki-taster at your school below.
