Samoa is laying solid foundations for a national WikiEducator Chapter

Workshop Scene, Samoa, 25 - 26 March 2009
The National University of Samoa is hosting the 3rd in-country Learning4Content (L4C) workshop. This workshop has strong representation from the school sector and the Samoan Qualifications Authority thus extending wiki skills capability across the school, tertiary and vocational education sectors.

Colleagues attending the 2nd L4C workshop have started brainstorming ideas for establishing a national OER collaboration in Samoa. These ideas will be complimented and refined by a similar activity for the school sector. The Learning4Content initiative has enabled more than 60 educators to acquire basic wiki skills thus forming the basis for a thriving Samoan network of WikiEducators.
