Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society needs your help rating chapter sites for the 2009 Chapter Site Award.

Review process
Does the site provide useful and interesting information? Is the web site design attractive?
Reflecting the trend/growth in social networking sites (such as Myspace, Facebook, etc.) this award will allow one of two options or categories:
- "Traditional" (Website) or
- "Contemporary" (Social Networking Site).
A chapter website/social networking site will be judged by the following minimum criteria:
- ease of traveling through the site (navigation)
- visual appeal and general appearance
- all links should work
- includes a list of chapter officers and advisor(s) with chapter and/or individual('s) contact information (as is appropriate) - emails, phones numbers are optional, in order to preserve privacy and avoid possible spamming by outsiders.
- chapter site must have connections to college website main page, International website (www.ptk.org), and Regional website (nvcaregion.org)
- scrolling (through lengthy pages) is to be minimized
- site is to be current and up–to–date
Additional recommendations:
- Compatibility with Mac and PC platforms
- Compatibility with multiple servers: Netscape , Explorer , Firefox, Opera, etc.
- Interactive (as opposed to pages of text)

1. Ease of navigation and attraction of the site.

1. When you're transferring to the www.ptk.org/ which has a link to go to it, on the site is not compatible with multiple servers: Netscape , Explorer , Firefox, Opera, etc (The logo of the site is more wide than Standard). --NI

2. Not a whole lot of visuals on the website, there isn't much to grab your attention with.
3. No membership page, don't know how to join or what the requirements would be.

1) The page is not organized very well.
I believe they are promoting their club. The information is presented in such away that I would to join so it is effective. I would reduce the pictures on the main page to just one and put the other one with the rest of the pictures. --DS
