About Us
One Village Foundation has successfully developed the first Open Digital Village in Africa and the world; the Winneba Open Digital Village (WODiV). This is the flagship and proof of concept for a more ambitious franchising effort called the Open Digital Village Network. We have an initial facility will test out ICT best practices which is set to be fully operational by Sept 2008. This we expect will culminate in the rollout of a comprehensive approach to community development, including a social enterprise model to facilitate rapid replication of this program in emerging markets.Explanation of ODIV Methodology and Approach The project is intended to be a model on how to effectively develop and harness ICT towards a multi-sector Integrated Development Approach.
