Log
Log homes - Commonly constructed out of entire whole logs that are either peeled or machined to a smooth finish and then shaped to stack ontop of one another. The houses in these photos are pre-cut and fitted in a yard, then deconstructed to be transported to site. The houses are reconstructed on site as a kitset.
The quality of the work is of a very high standard and the joints are almost seemless. The people involved in the construction of these buildings are artisans that produce work that stands upto the building code. The gallery of the work is well worth a look for inspiration
