The concept of "economic development" is not a good fit for decision makers in HE - we need to reword for the target audience.

Suggested rewording for Scene 4 from David Porter posted with permission

Delete "economic development" to read as follows:

Help make higher education more sustainable through your support. OERu welcomes expressions of interest from recognised and acredited postsecondary institutions ....

How about "Help make higher education more sustainable through your support. OERu welcomes expressions of interest from recognised institutions ...." ?

This allows for a more specific definition on the website of what is a 'recognised' institution, and includes the provincial and national teaching agencies who are members.

OERu also has a number of provincial and national teaching agencies who are members, eg:

  1. BCcampus
  2. eCampus Alberta
  3. Ako Aotearoa (National Centre for Tertiary Teaching Excellence)
  4. Contact North | Contact Nord

Need to reword that these agencies are also welcome to join the network.
