Thanks for all your efforts arranging this set of workshops

HI Tladi

thank you hugely for all your efforts organising this set of workshops at Bocodol; I've really enjoyed and appreciated your generosity, time, efforts and energy to secure such an excellent venue and some truly motivated colleagues to join me on the Wikieducator adventure, and am very excited by the fact that there were so many of these individuals clearly impacted by the prospects of Wiki!

Please also convey my thanks to your administrators for their generosity, your staff for finding time to document both workshops, and the drivers for their patience in waiting for me to finish workshops before the ride back to the hotel!

I look forward to catching up with you in the future - an international conference perhaps or a visit to Namibia; you are most welcome!

Warm regards

Joris

Getting used to wiki syntax

Hi

I appreciate your frustrations in getting used to wiki syntax -- we are working on a rich text editing solution for the future --

However, in the mean time we don't want to hold back the power of collaborative authoring online from educators around the world until rich text formatting is implemented.

Have fun.

How do I Use moodle to create e-learning content.

I would like to find out from colleagues out there how we can use the authoring tool within Moodle to create e-learning content. We are a distance learning institution trying to convert some of our print material into e-format using this open source CMS. The institution has decided to adopt moodle as its content management platform because it also has a facility to develop content with and even convert already existing content. We have had some assistance from one of our sister or brother institutions with downloading and installation of the system on our server environment. Now I am interested in finding out if there are experts who can give some assistance on the material production side. May be a user friendly manual if available could be of help.
