My name is Subol.
I graduated in 1994 from National University of Bangladesh. After my graduation I worked as a volunteer for orphan’s primary school. In 2000 I worked computer department in "Rupantar" for almost three years. In 2003 I worked as a Documentation Officer of Urban Governance Project.1n 2004 I worked with a VSO Volunteer as Monitoring and Evaluation. Now I work as a monitoring officer of Rupantar.
I am a monitoring person, I think monitoring is not bossing system, Monitoring is improvement. We worked for improving poor community who are always deprived due to their ignorance as well as lack of capacity to demand for such rights and privileges. So proper monitoring We have a duty to our beneficiaries, donors, ourselves and each other to know if we are performing well.
Provides a early indication of any weaknesses that require corrective action. Provided critical information for future decisions. Excellent method of continuous improvement for all.
Interests
I had grown a keen interest in Made something for people since I had learn about some of the basics in textbooks.I made my mind to do something in the field of M&E.I want to study this subject by practical knowladge and work with some volunteer in country or abroad, but I thought to start from the basics of M&E. I remember to a British volunteer Sarah Burnet who share with her knowladge in two years. My organization always inspire me to do something in this field & my interest in this field have grown stronger.
My Dream
I've been always interested in M&E. I have a good understanding of this type of Right base work from my five years of experience in M&E, especially local governance and women empowerment. And I want to support all project responsible person for collecting outcome level data. They just need to be directed to the right path in the use of computer technology. And involve all project in Computer M&E System.

- Involve and develop projects which helps my country in Local Governance and other issues of Bangladesh

RUPANTAR: AGENT FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
Rupantar is founded in 1992, and started its operations from 1995 in Khulna and Bagerhat district. At the beginning activities were mainly cultural; Rupantar activists performed theaters and popular folk music on various social issues.
The fundamental principal of Rupantar is based on the hypothesis that culture and sustainable development are closely connected. This connection is an emerging concept in the development world. Although the identity of a society is largely determined by its culture, yet is difficult for any society to have a static sense of the culture. Both society and culture are changing simultaneously.
Rupantar is registered as NGO in December 1992.
The field activities of Rupantar started in 1995 initially with cultural activities using alternative theatre, folk drama and popular publications for the grassroots poor male-female. Rupantar has always been implementing new activity with the past field experience and learning.
Rupantar to-day stands as a unique development organization with special characteristics towards contributing in mainstream development process in Bangladesh.
Rupantar started research with the local folk culture of the Sundarbans Region to find out the scope for mainstreaming the folk culture in development. After a great deal of research Rupantar identified a number of about to be extinct folk cultural media that were used as education and communication media in the past. These cultural media are being developed and updated to be used as communication media.http://www.rupantar.org
