ABOUT MYSELF

My name is Dawn Rasmussen. I am a mother of five handsome boys and grandmother of nine beautiful grandchildren aged between 4 months and 6 years old. I live at Malifa a small village close to Apia the capital of the Pacific island Samoa.

I am a physical education lecturer at the National University of Samoa. My passion is in sports and have been involved as an athlete in various sporting teams.

I managed the Samoa Women's Rugby team for the Women's Rugby World Cup in Edmonton Canada 2006, the Pacific 7's in Papua New Guinea 2007 and very recently the Oceania 7's Qualifiers held in Apia 2008.

Information technology has had a big impact on my small island making the world small and reachable by a click of the button.

I look forward to linking up with those interested in sports especially with women's rugby. Any information on physical education and sports will be most welcomed.
