About me!

I am from Hamilton, New Zealand. I teach at an urban girls' secondary school. I actually live in Raglan, which is a beautiful seaside town in the North Island.

My parents are from Germany and the USA, so I grew up bilingual (German and English). Aside from my parents, my family lives in Germany and America so I am lucky to have a reason to do a lot of travelling (when I can afford it).

I am taking part in a WikiEducator workshop at the moment, which I am hoping will help me to catch up to the abilities of my students when it comes to matters ICT, and to share work with my colleagues.

Professional background

I am brand new to teaching in schools. I teach languages (French, German and a little Spanish).

Before starting to work as a teacher, I studied for far too many years and worked in a frontline ambulance service as well as tutoring at Waikato University.

Hi Ronja, As this workshop is nearing its end now, could you decide on developing at least one free content resource licensed under a CC-BY-SA or CC-BY license which can be used by yourself (and others) on WikiEducator? With best wishes, Ramesh Sharma 20:10, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
