Professional Background
I am a professor of nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), in the U.S. I am Deputy Director of our UAB WHO Collaborating Center on International Nursing and work on a number of eLearning projects to promote global nursing capacity building.

My Projects
I teach a number of online courses at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, and am the Principal Investigator of a project to implement and evaluate distance courses for study coordinators at international sites, which involves a total of 150 students from 40 countries. I am working with the professional nursing community in Zambia to develop distance education programs for nurses.
