Hi, My name is Enrique Barrera. Presently I am a lecturer at University of Belize. I am a supervisor working with interns who do the course EDUC 452, Field Experience 11.This is the final exercise that students need to do so as to complete their final degree.
I have been a teacher both at the primary and secondary school level. At the primary level I have worked at all levels including that of being principal. I have worked for over twenty-five years as principal.
I was once the principal of a secondary school for five years as well.
In my last years of service I joined the Ministry of Education.I worked as District Education Officer for the Orange Walk and Corozal District.
One of my hobbies is reading our weekly newspapers and planting ornamental trees. I like to do landscaping and growing orchids.
