Professional background
I joined the world of work in 1997. My first job was a Research Officer / Economist with the National Institute for one year. I then spent the next three and half years working as Trade Development Officer in South Embassy in Harare. In 2000 I joined joined the national privatization commission as Marketing and PR Executive. I then joined ILO as a Small Enterprise Development Officer in mid 2002 till early 2006. From there I moved o the ILO Sub-Regional office as National Programme Coordinator for 11 months. I enjoyed 2 years as an International consultant for ILO and UNDP and then re-joined ILO in early 2009, initially as an interim Enterprise Development Specialist based in Addis Ababa responsible for Eastern and English speaking West Africa, and from Jun2 2009 as a Senior Technical Advisor based in Lusaka, Zambia.
