My Community
I come from big Malaita island and especially the western side of it. My mother tongue are the Are'are and Siesie languages. They are both my first languages although Pijin is also my first language. I have three homes and they are: Wairaha village, Baunani village and Riverside village. I grew up in Honiara, though.
Who am I?
I am a lecturer in the English language and also lectures Communication Skills and Literature and Literacy. I have been a lecturer for the last 21 years.
What am I doing?
I teach trainees for the primary and secondary school we have in the country. I coordinate the Diploma in Secondary programme as well.
Impact of this Technology
It is an eye opener and simultaneously a tool for learning and recording and sharing of ideas globally. It links and connects everyone together and relates one to another. It is a bridge bridging lives and creeds.
