Introduction
Technology Education for educators
I am an educational technology educator (lecturer) at Caprivi College of Education. I have been at this institution for a period of five years. As a lecturer, I am responsible for ICT literacy and integration into education and the classroom. Currently, I am teaching 170 (2nd & 3rd year) student teachers.
I am a chairperson of the ICT committee which ensures that all college ICT needs are attended to. I am very much interested in integrating technology into teaching since this ensures that our teachers become resourcefull and are able to meet the challenges education has. Caprivi College of Education is situated in the far north eastern part of Namibia (almost 1300KM) from the capital city of Windhoek. Our best method of communication is through the use of technology.
