Learners
This statistics tutorial comprises an introduction to statistics and statistical methods appropriate for learners who are proficient in basic arithmetic, beginning algebra and some parts of intermediate algebra (need to be enumerated). Everyday experience interpreting data displays, graphs, and infographics and thinking quantitatively is helpful.
Ultimately would like two versions of tutorial, one that uses activities designed for Open Office Calc, the other for use with R (a free statistical package). Not sure which version to make first.
Would it be useful to create some activities designed for a calculator with statistical functions (e.g., TI-83)?
First version would be written in English.
