Hi Patricia,

Your comments were indeed quite encouraging, and, I really do feel honoured to be the recepient. I have navigated through your personal info and is encouraged by your data. Iam quite familar with the work of COL having been the recepient of a fellowship which allowed me the opportunity to spend 3-4weeks at COl's Headquarters in Vancouver, in the early 90's. I am still on the mailing list.

I have been a lifelong educator with professional training in Primary through to Tertiary education. However, my professional interest is in the area of Adult and Continuing Education, with particular interest in Open and Distance Education. I have recently completed my Doctorate(PhD) in the said area, so this sums up in a way, my passion for open and distance learning.

I am truly fascinated by WikiEducator and would very much love to have you as my next wiki tutor. Online will be just right - What do you think?.Thanks once again, and do keep in touch.

Desmond.

{(Comment.gif: Dear Desmond, Good morning (saturday that is). I read your response with interest. Wouldn't this be nice! Please sign up at any time here: http://www.wikieducator.org/Learning4Content/Registration. On this page we advertise the upcoming course. You can go with any of the facilitators that are offered. Nellie for instance is a long term online facilitator with great experience you can benefit from. I have done about 20 course or so. I am on leave as of next week but there will be other opportunities. Great to have you with us. Please join the WikiEducator main mailing list. It will help you to stay close to the pulse of the community and there is a lot to be learned from the postings. Although some of the info will be technical, there is a great community behind it to fall back on to, if you get stuck and need immediate help. There is always somebody who will.
