Powerpoint Problem

Could we start with the other half? Thutong is the leading education portal in a country with a policy on free and open source software and open standards (see also the NACI document).

We have an opportunity to help others with this challenge - batch conversion of files e.g. .doc to .pdf or .odt, and .ppt to .odp, etc.
The WikiEducator message could become "Warning: this file will be converted from .ppt to .odp ...".
