Frustration We forgot that you cant use PowerPoint and then share the documents within WikiEducator. Consequently we could not use WikiEducator because half our materials were barred. Could we start with the other half? Thutong is the leading education portal in a country with a policy on free and open source software and open standards (see also the NACI document).

We have an opportunity to help others with this challenge - batch conversion of files e.g. .doc to .pdf or .odt, and .ppt to .odp, etc.

The WikiEducator message could become "Warning: this file will be converted from .ppt to .odp ...".
